Tax (GST) Refund For Visitors To Canada
| In Ontario, most goods
and services are subject to the federal 5% Goods and Services Tax (GST).
If you reside outside Canada, you may be eligible to reclaim GST paid
on purchases and accommodation during your visit. Expenses must total
at least $200 (Cdn.), before taxes; each receipt must total at least
$50 (Cdn.) before taxes.

Customs requirements
| If you are a Canadian
citizen or permanent resident of the United States, you won't need a
passport or visa to enter Canada. However, you will need proof of
citizenship such as a birth certificate, citizenship certificate,
passport or landing card. You should also carry a copy of your vehicle
registration and insurance card.

Fishing licenses for non-residents (living outside Canada)
| A non-resident is
considered to be anyone who is not an Ontario or Canadian resident.
Non-residents under-18 may only fish without a license when
accompanied by a licensed adult. Legally, any fish caught will be part
of the catch and possession limit of the license holder unless a
separate license is purchased by or for the under-18, non-resident.
